Ice - Chapter 3(LokixReader)

Years have passed and you just graduated from college.  You are twenty two years old, and ready to begin your normal life.  You've kept your powers on the down low pretty well.  No one but S.H.I.E.L.D., the Parkers, and your cat Sasha know about them.  You've grown up a lot since your parents died.  You went through a lot of counseling about it, and it's been tough over the years, but you've beard through it.  The Parkers, Emily and Richard, have been great guardians, but you could never call them your parents.  

As for S.H.I.E.L.D., you get yearly visits from them.  Agent Coulson (who insists you call him Uncle Phil), visits every year on your birthday to check up on you and see how you are doing.  It's nice to see him, he really doe steel like an Uncle to you.  

Your cat Sasha has grown up from a mischievous kitten into a fat lazy cat.  She never does anything but eat, sleep, and sit on your lap while you browse the internet.  But you still love her.  

You were sitting at home one afternoon, your feet up on the couch, Sasha sitting all cozy on your lap, and you were watching your favorite Disney movie, Tangled.  You loved the relationship between Flynn and Rapunzle.  Ever since you met Loki in the woods when you were ten years old, you had become a hopeless romantic.  You knew you would never see Loki again, and you were fine with that, there were other fish in the sea.  But you wondered where he was from, how he ended up in the woods… Maybe he was just a figment of your imagination.  

You then heard a knock at your apartment door.  You moved Sasha off your lap, who instinctively just jumped right back on the couch.  You laughed t her, "You are so lazy." you said.  You opened the door  to see Coulson standing there.  "Uncle Phil!" you said, giving him a hug, he hugged you back.  "It's so nice to see you! What brings you here?"

"I have some very important business to discuss with you.  May I come in?"  You invited him inside and closed the door behind him.  He sat on the couch next to Sasha, petting her soft, white fur.  "How are your powers, you been using them wisely?"

You scoffed, "I haven't been using them at all.  You know that.  I only use them occasionally when I forget to put ice in my water and when it's just a little too warm for me."

"I can tell.  It's freezing in here.  How can you be wearing shorts?"  You were wearing shorts, a blue flannel, and a black tank top.  It was your usual getup.  It happened to be summer, but you tended to stay indoors so you could stay cool.  Unless you were going to work, you were just lucky the store yo worked at had air conditioning.  

"That's just how I roll."  Yo stated simply, plopping down on the couch beside him.  "So, why are you really here?"  You were curious to know why.  your birthday wasn't for another few months, and he never usually dropped in like this unexpectedly.  Coulson then began to explain a horrible tragedy at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, and how some guy blew up the place.  Someone had stolen a device known as the tesseract, which you weren't exactly sure what it was or what it even did.  So now the agency is gathering up a band of super humans to create a team they call the Avengers.  The story intrigued you.  

"So you want me to be a superhero?" you laughed a bit.

"This is serious, [Name].  Are you in?"  You thought a moment.  There was nothing else exciting going on.  Why not?
