Control - Epilogue(LokixReader)

You woke up in a hospital bed.  You weren't wearing the clothes you had on before, you were now wearing an ugly hospital gown.  Standing around your bed were the avengers and Nick Fury.  You were ready for a huge lecture on how selfish your act was and how you could have gotten yourself or others hurt.  But instead it was the complete opposite.

"Hello, [Name].  Sleep well?" Nick asked.

"I guess…" you said, feeling a bit awkward that everyone was crowded around you.

"Now, you see the lamp beside your bed?" he asked. You looked over to the small blue lamp and nodded.  "Use your powers and pick it up."  Seemed easy enough, you looked at the lamp and concentrated long and hard, but it didn't move.  You tried again, nothing.  Again. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

"I don't understand…" you said, looking back at everyone else.

"When you originally got your powers form the lab shots, the solution used to give you your powers wasn't permanent.  It lasted a good four years, but finally wore off after some horrible head aches."  When you got your first job at a science lab, the scientists used you to test their strange solutions.  They gave you many shots, that didn't seem to affect you at all.  Then one day, they gave you a shot that they claimed would give you the ability to learn things faster.  Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.  After some grueling head aches you learned that you could lift objects with your mind.  

But it all made sense.  Those head aches form lifting things, your powers were gone.  It was sad, but I guess it was good.  You were normal again.  "Does this mean I don't have to stay under Shields watch anymore?"

"Sadly no, we are still going to keep a close eye on you.  But you can go home and presume your life."  You smiled, finally.  All you wanted was to go home, now… Wait, something was wrong.  You were missing something.  Oh yeah…

"And Loki?" you asked.

"He's gone.  Back at Asgard."  You sighed.  You then remembered everything he said yesterday.  It hurt, still.  But you just couldn't stop loving him, even if he didn't love you.  In fact, him not wanting you made you want him more.  You wished you could hold him one last time.  But you knew it was an impossible dream.

Loki's P.O.V.-

Here I am.  Back at Asgard, where it all began.  Back in my room, my prison.  Odin didn't trust me anymore, but why should I care.  I all I want is to see [Name] again.  I just wanted to tell her the truth, that i did love her.  She believes that everything I said was the truth.  Well, it was a bit of truth, but most of it was a lie.  I told her that i didn't love her to protect her.  I knew she would get into trouble, and I didn't want that.  

I noticed she wanted me from the beginning, and I planned to use it to my advantage.  But her story intrigued me, and I related to it.  I didn't know I would fall in love with her.  No one did.  The night she asked me to leave with her was actually no surprise at all. What surprised me was that she had no plan.  It angered me actually, and she knew it.  I felt bad though, she must have thought I hated her.  

Once we saw those damned Avengers I had to think of something, I knew [Name] wouldn't.  So I lied to everyone, telling them that I used her, and didn't truly love her.  It was quite believable, I remember watching [Name], her eyes filled with heart ache then bursting into rage.  

I just want to hold her again.  I want her to know that she would never be alone again.  I hope she knows that no matter where I am, and what I do, I will always love her.
